Meet Dr. Fincher | Meet the Staff | Our Blog

Dr. Fincher is a native of Greenwood where he lives with his wife, Laura. They have been married thirty years and have two grandchildren. Dr. Fincher's education includes Pillow Academy, Mississippi Delta community College, Mississippi State University-BS,Delta State University-MS, and Louisiana State University School of Dentistry-DDS. Dr. Fincher has been in private practice since 1986 and serves as a clinical professor at Mississippi Delta Community College Dental Hygiene School. His passion for dentistry shows with the technology he embraces to provide the highest level of dentistry in the southeast. Dr. Fincher is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying wildlife and habitat management along with hunting and fishing. He is a member of First Presbyterian church in Greenwood where he is a past deacon and present elder. Dr. Fincher has served on numerous mission trips, including five trips to Cameroon, West Africa.

Dr. Todd Fincher tapped for Toronto

Delta dentist chosen as part of select group to attend beta testing of new dental procedure

Dr. Todd Fincher, DDS, Greenwood, Mississippi, has been selected by Nobel Biocare, the world’s leader in Dental Implant Technology to attend the North American launch in Toronto, Canada, of its latest 3-Dimensional Dental Implant placement system featuring cone beam guided surgery techniques for dental implants. Dr. Fincher was selected as one of only three general dentists in the seven state Deep South region which includes the states of Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, east Texas, and the Florida panhandle to attend the Beta testing of this product. Dr. Fincher will be part of a team that will test, photograph, and document this system for Nobel Biocare. It will be available exclusively for his practice for one year in this region, prior to being brought into the marketplace for other dental providers. The results of the documentation will be published in several international dental journals and will be part of ongoing studies to enhance cone beam technology for dental implants utilizing Nobel Guide “with the Nobel Active” implant system. Nobel Biocare would like to congratulate Dr. Fincher in his selection and thank him for his participation.
