Full Mouth Reconstruction. Sometimes the mouth can break down and be in serious need of care. Full mouth reconstruction uses many methods of dentistry to re-create a proper relationship between gums, bone, muscles, and teeth. Without a proper bite, chewing can become impaired, teeth can become worn, the jaw and neck can become sore, and even migraines can occur. Dental bonding, porcelain veneers and crowns, dental implants, and teeth whitening are all potential procedures used in a full mouth reconstruction. The result is definitely worth it: a perfect smile! The entire mouth is beautified with a more comfortable bite and less tension in the jaw, TMJ and neck. In addressing and correcting these problems, patients find relief, improved function and better oral health, not to mention more confidence about their beautiful smile. Full mouth reconstruction or rehabilitation can restore all of your teeth and rebuild a natural-looking smile. If you have lost some or all of your teeth due to tooth decay or trauma, injured or fractured teeth, severely worn teeth, or ongoing complaints of your jaw and its positioning, full mouth reconstruction can be what your teeth and jaw need.
Conventional Partial Dentures. A device for replacing missing natural teeth that can be permanent or removable. The dentures are attached to a pink or gum-colored plastic base, which is connected by metal framework that holds the denture in place in the mouth. Partial dentures are used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw.
Precision Attachment Dentures. Dentures which lock onto dental implants. This ‘locking’ effect holds the denture in place very securely giving you the confidence to socialize normally and smile with confidence. They are not visible; they are rigid and have a solid feeling. Ultimately, the dental implants provide better support for the denture. This outcome requires four to six dental implants per arch and reproduces the feeling and function of natural teeth.
Complete Dentures. A replacement of all of the natural teeth after the teeth have been removed. They are a type of dental prosthesis, meaning that they do not function as well as real teeth. Complete dentures replace not only missing teeth but they also replace missing soft tissue and bone. Dentures are provided to patients who by disease, trauma or choice have lost all natural teeth in one or both arches. A complete denture replaces all the teeth within the arch but unfortunately relies solely on remaining bone and soft tissue (gums) for support and retention. We highly recommend placing a minimum of two dental implants per arch to preserve bone, stabilize, and support the dentures.
